I had stage 4 Endometrosis and suffered for 5 years in agony. I tried Lupron, Depo Provera and numerous other treatments that gave me a lot of side effects but did not work.
I had lots of exploratory surgery where they cauterized a lot of the endometriosis and that helped momentarily.
I had the partial hysterectomy in 2007 and this seemed to be the answer for a long time. I do get pain and cramping symptoms once in a while but now seems to be getting worse and is almost constant with sharp pain on my lower side.
I still have my left ovary and am worried about what the pain may indicate. I will be seeing my family doctor and take it one day at a time.

I had a laparoscopy that provided no relief for my endometriosis. I was in constant pain, taking Percocet everyday just to be able to walk around.
I was scared to risk the side effects of taking Lupron, and because of my family history of cancer, I thought a hysterectomy would be a better choice than ablation.
I had a total hysterectomy (only keeping my ovaries) in March 2012. I had virtually no pain symptoms until August 2012. The symptoms returned, almost as bad as they were initially. I'm still afraid to risk the side effects of Lupron. I don't know what to do.
Is there a way to measure my estrogen so that I can take estrogen to keep my levels high and steady (similar to pregnancy)??

Endometriosis runs in my family and it is not uncommon for the women to have surgery to fix this issue before three age of 30. I have tried everything and I'm only 30 hours post-op so I'm not sure how I'll feel yet.
My main concern is I have symptoms of severe belly bloating, migraine and heart palpitations since the surgery. Is this normal? How long does it last?
