I was able to have one child with endometriosis but since then I have had 3 surgeries to remove it, and I am only 24 years old.
No birth control has worked for me. I have pain in the lungs, hips, legs, back, and abdomen. I also get headaches and it just keeps getting worse.
I am greatful for the child that I do have but wish to have another and I fear that this is no longer possible.
My periods are so painful that sometimes I get brought to the ground and cannot move... heat seems to help at times. Does anyone else know of other things that may help?

I have been struggling with this hip pain for decades, but it has gotten so bad in the last 2 years that I literally limp the week of my period and have difficulty walking at all the day or two before I start.
After my period starts, my pain is nearly back to baseline, and I have a normal 3 weeks or so, until the cramps and pain begin to become more severe. My husband actually noticed the coincidence that it happens with my menses. It is miserable and I have found NSAIDS like MOBIC work wonderfully and permit some relief. I have a normal MRI of my low back and pelvis, and most doctors think I am crazy when I describe this debilitating pain.

I had iron deficiency and was looking for reasons, f.ex myoma. Sonoscopy did not show any serious myoma but there was "free liquid". After 4 months it showed ovarian cyst of a size that needed to be removed.
During the operation they found some endometriosis between the uterus and bladder and the cyst had become "a kyste endometrique".
I did have strange pain lately but somehow blamed the cycle or thought that ovulation usually hurts. So far it had hurt once in two years.

I am now at 35 year old. I feel pain in my pelvis and huge amount of blood loss during menstruation. I didn't consult ob-gyn yet but as medical background I have a hunch that this is endometriosis based on symptoms and pain. I hope you can give an advice

My symptoms of endometriosis include:
Severe hip pain, so I have problems walking from hormone cramps, heavy bleeding and bloating, gas pains, pain radiating from back to front of pelvis snd urinary incontinence and bladder cramps. Plus fatigue and upper leg pain.
I have had gluteal pain for over a year. It is getting worse. I workout a lot and right now I am not able to play hockey or do other activities because of the pain. I have had it treated with ultrasound, laser, massage, ART, shockwave, acupuncture,PRP injection and nothing has helped. Today I found out that it could be caused from my endometriosis. My doctor put me on dienogest. I hope it helps because I need to be active and workout.

Hello, I have been told by my gyno that I might have endometriosis but is not giving me laparoscopy. I haven't had sex with my husband in a couple months, but after we did last nigt I swelled up in my abdomen especially around C section scar and sides. I have been swelling on/off and I was not swollen yesterday and felt fine, and then suddenly I swelled again.
I am so hopeless, I don't know if it could be adhesions pulling my organs together. I have been having pain in my left side love handle area, back to my lower back. Any help would be appreciated thanks

I began getting pelvic pain in 2010 ... in may 2011 I had a cyst removed from my right ovary and was diagnosed with endometriosis. After surgery I still was getting pelvic pain. I went in to have a cyst removed from the same ovary. I ended up having my right ovary removed because endometriosis covered that ovary. Its weeks after surgery and I am still getting that pain. My gyne said it will get better once I restart the depo lupron again.

A few months ago, I went to the doctor who called the paramedics, to take me to the ER, with a question of gall bladder attacks, kidney stones.
Once at the hospital, they ruled out any of the above, sent me home on Dilotid. Referred to surgeo, who did a hydascan: ? spelling, of the gall bladder, then to have and endoscopy, soon to have a colonoscopy.
Dr. wants to set up a GYN attending, for a possible laproscopy. Symptoms? - diarrhea, constipation, back pain ( kidney area ) fatigue, non tolerant of fatty foods, tests for celiac, (negative), full blood work up (negative), abd. pain, weary, lost 30 pounds in 2.5 months, weak and weary. gas, pain, hurts to walk sometimes...

I was told by my obgyn that I have endometriosis, that was about 6 months ago. I feel I have had it longer. My symtoms have gotten much worse. I'm tired all the time, so I started taking a multivitamin. It's worse when I'm on my period, it also hurts when I'm ovulating.
I have to stand a lot when I'm at work and that makes it much worse. Ever since I've gotten this stuff, I've missed work. I never miss work. I feel alone in my struggle. Thank GOD I have already have 2 handsome boys.

I was a late starter and did not start having my period until I was 15, and it has been an ordeal ever since. At first, they only came every 2-3 months, and the pain associated with them was so debilitating it was a struggle to just do my daily activities. Not to mention I felt sick, weak, and I bled horribly, so I was put on birth control to regulate them, but the pain and heavy bleeding still occurred.
About 2 years ago, I started experiencing debilitating pelvic pain not associated with my period and breakthrough bleeding (which had never happened before). I went to an OB/GYN and had an ultrasound, which showed fluid in my endometrial canal but nothing more. The bleeding eventually stopped, and the pain slacked off, but I still had severe pain and heavy bleeding with my periods.
About 6 months ago, I started experiencing horrible, deep pain again, but it was worse than before. It radiates into my flank on both sides, my hips, groin and all throughout my pelvis. I get very dizzy, weak and irritable, and some days I cannot move the pain is so bad. I've been to my GYN multiple times, and according to my description of the symptoms he's under the impression it may be Endo or Adenomyosis... and the only way to know for sure is a hysteroscopy/ pelvic laproscopy. I'm in the medical profession myself, I'm a surgical nurse, and I've seen enough and know enough to be absolutely sure that this is not normal, and I'd just like to once and for all know what's going on...I'm 22 years old, I've never really had any issues like this and I want to know if damage has been done to the point I cannot have children. It's all frustrating..because I can barely function on a regular basis and I want my life back.

I suspect I've been suffering from endometriosis for about ten years, but I was diagnosed with it a few months ago.
I had a laparoscopy and it seems there is a growth inside one of my ovaries. Because I might want to have children (I'm 27) they didn't want to remove the ovary since that might make me infertile. The problem is my current condition is also leaving me without children.
I can't be intimate because of the pain. Putting in a tampon is really painful and just touching the vaginal opening leaves a burning pain that can stay for hours.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way to deal with it or do I have to live in celibacy?
This is a big problem for me and it gravely effects my romantic and social life. If you have any advice or experience something similar, please get in touch!
