Copaiba oil benefits for endometriosis

There is one essential oil that is getting really good reviews from those with endometriosis who have been using this oil to help with their pain.  The oil in question is Copaiba oil, and many are using this oil to help with pain and inflammation. Copaiba oil is widely used in cosmetic products including soaps, creams, lotions, and perfumes.

There are many health benefits of copaiba essential oil include its ability to reduce pain and inflammation, ease headaches, protect against infections, and help heal the skin.  Copaiba is considered to be one of the strongest anti-inflammatory substances available, and applied to the abdomen could provide much needed relief with inflammation and bloating with endometriosis.

Copaiba essential oil is made from steam-distilling the resin of a tree found in South America by the same name. The oil is used in many ceremonies in South America and is a much-revered oil.  Amazonian traditional medical practitioners often prescribed the oil for its anti-inflammatory properties.

Interestingly, not only does copaiba act as a pain killer, but it can also help reduce liver tissue damage caused by drugs like Tylenol. One study measured the effect of copaiba oil in liver damage that was induced by pain-killers in rats, and after 7 days it was found that the damage had been reduced.

Scar reduction

As well as protecting the skin with its anti-fungal properties, copaiba essential oil also heals the skin and provides the body with powerful nutrients and healing organic compounds.  Copaiba essential oil is often applied topically to scars in order to speed their healing and reduce their visibility.

This property makes it a valuable tool to help reduce scar tissue after laparoscopy surgery for endometriosis. Research has shown that copaiba essential oil can decrease endometrial growths over time and this will be due to the different healing properties of the oil.

Reviews for Copaiba oil

I heard about this oil to help with endometriosis pain, and it has really provided me with huge relief from the cramps and pain I suffered.  So glad I found out about this great oil.

I'm using this with frankincense to help with menstrual cramps and so far, it seems to be working which says a lot considering how bad they are!

This particular oil I use for pain, great for arthritis or fibromyalgia. Works getter then taking a tylenol or ibuprofen and works quick. Be sure to dilute it with a carrier oil. I use 100% organic olive oil.

The oil can be purchased from various sources and it is advised to get the best quality of oil.  The oil blends really well with frankincense for pain relief, and needs to be diluted with a carrier oil – mix 5 drops with 10ml of carrier oil.

You can also add a few drops to your bath water, and using in the evening will help relax you for a good night’s rest.

For sore muscles bath blend: Combine: 1 drop of Copaiba, 1 drop of Peppermint and 3 drops of Frankincense with 1 tablespoon of Jojoba oil and 1/2 cup of Epsom salts. Stir together and add to running bath water for a relaxing soak.

Looking at all the health benefits of this oil it is one product that should really be in your arsenal to help with the symptoms of endometriosis.
