Combining Natural Treatment - Options for Endometriosis sufferers

It is often quite daunting to decide on which natural options to try when you first decide that you would like to use them for Endometriosis. Once you actually delve into the world of natural healing, it suddenly becomes overwhelming with the amount of choice and options that are available to you! I thought I would pick only 5 Natural Treatment Options for you and discuss them and what they can do for you.

  • Emotional Freedom Technique
This is a form of healing which focuses on the negative emotions we hold inside our bodies. By releasing these emotions, we allow the body to heal easier as we are no longer stressed or bogged down by those emotions.

Typical emotions we might experience with Endometriosis are feeling of overwhelm, feeling angry, frustration and not being “enough”. By using the Emotional Freedom Technique, you can essentially release these emotions and this allows you to see yourself and the world more positively.

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine
Based on 1000’s of years of history, the Chinese Medicine practises focus on correcting imbalances in the body. The term “disease” doesn’t exist within the philosophy and it is more a case of releasing “blockages” from the body. A combination of acupuncture and herbal remedies are used and encourage the body to release those “blockages” and then heal from them.

  • Ayurvedic Medicinee
This is based on the ancient medicinal healing practises used in Indian Culture. It is very similar to Chinese Medicine in it’s approach but focuses on looking at a person’s entire approach to life. This includes everything from your lifestyle, your eating habits, your stress levels and emotional well-being.

Herbs are also used but it is based more your dosha or for the sake of this description “personality” to heal. According to Ayurvedic Medicine, we are born with certain Dosha’s and within each one, there is a tendency towards imbalance if the right foods, lifestyle and herbs are not supplied to the body.

  • Nutritional healing
Within nutritional healing we focus very strongly on supplying the body with the right tools to heal, by the food, oils and water we give it. The foods are nutrient rich and supply the body with more vitamins, more minerals and overall gives the body an excess to allow it to heal. It is looking at the body as being made up of individual cells.

Each cell needs water, rich oils and nutrients to operate at it’s optimum. By giving our bodies these, we are more likely to have optimum health. Superfoods are known within the Raw Food community for supplying the body with these. Teas and tinctures follow through with this concept. Raw Food provides the body with richer, high enzyme foods giving it the best nutrition.

  • Detoxification
Disease is said to sit in our liver and as the liver detoxes everything in our body, our healing should therefore commence with it. Every day, we are exposed to toxins in our environment. Toxins from pollution, from the foods we eat, from the emotions we hold and by holding these toxins, we essentially create an environment for disease. The method here is to release the toxins from the body through Liver Flushing, Colonics and Exercise.

Personally, I am currently using a combination of these methods to heal myself of Endometriosis. I eat well, de-stress as much as possible and am planning a Liver Flush. I believe we can incorporate all aspects from the various different forms of healing and really, pick and choose which ones appeal to us personally.

I feel I am 90% free from Endometriosis and it is completely under control. I aim to be Endometriosis free within this year!
