Endometriosis Healing Testimonies

Below you will find a collection of brief stories and testimonies of women who have achieved healing from Endometriosis to one degree or another. Some women have obtained complete freedom from the disease, some have had a lot of relief from the pain and symptoms, while others have measured their success by their ability to achieve a successful pregnancy.

All the stories relate to women who have achieved their healing with the aid and support of alternative or natural therapies. I have put this list together to give you more inspiration and hope that it is possible for you also to gain healing from Endometriosis.

I have omitted the surnames of the women to protect their privacy. There are references to alternative health practitioners, and I trust they will be totally happy with their inclusion in these messages.

"... endometriosis, left ovary, lower back ... battling the daily pain. My stomach was constantly bloated from inflammation ... left me so nauseated and robbed my desire to eat ... previous surgery with no success as endometriosis keeps growing back. I had refused synthetic hormone treatments and any further surgery including hysterectomy. Finally in a leap of faith my prayers led me to Paula.

Acupuncture has touched my life in a miraculous way. My husband and I always knew we wanted children and never thought we would have problems conceiving. I had pain and bleeding due to endometriosis. Before the treatment I had bleeding everyday for the past eight months, the pain was unbearable and my back was beginning to hurt-could not sleep well at night. I had laparoscopic surgery, strong birth control medicine, vibrational therapy, everything that could be done-next step would be to either get pregnant, or have a hysterectomy and end the chronic symptoms. I was told that it would take 10 treatments before I would begin to see results. I was prepared-this was my last option-because if this didn't work I would have the surgery. After the first treatment, I slept great for the first time in months. The next day my bleeding stopped and so did the chronic pain. I went to my M.D. who was treating me for my endometriosis and he said that I can now begin to have monthly periods and that all seems to be fine. I believe that alternative medicine should be used with treatment of any medical problem. In 1995 I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I failed to respond to hormone therapy and because I had had two c-sections, my insurance informed me that they would not cover surgery because the risk of a medical emergency was too great. "Naturopathy cleared my endometriosis"

Coos Bay, OR... I have had endometriosis for years, and it was extremely painful and limiting in my case. I was put on an unusually high dosage of Depo-Provera injections to stop it -- 400 mg per ml, injected monthly. The average dose for women seeking birth control (its most popular use) is 100 mg, injected once every three months. Prior to the injections, my iron would drop so low each month that I was being considered for long-term hospitalisation. I would have excruciating pain and be out of commission three weeks out of four. Recently, my new physician insisted that I stop the injections, due to the discovery that Depo-Provera can cause osteoporosis. I had experienced some major bone breakage in the last year and increased knee problems. I immediately stopped taking it, though terrified that I would return to my previous life of pain and limitation. "I have struggled with endometriosis for over 10 years. It's been very painful and frustrating.

After many different medical procedures and treatments throughout these years, I decided in 2002 I was going to try something different. When I mentioned it to Dr. Bonnie one day, she suggested I try the natural progesterone cream I was a little nervous but decided I couldn't be any worse off than I already was, so I began using the cream in June of 2002. I stopped taking birth control pills for my endometriosis and gave 110% to the Natural Progesterone Cream. According to the literature Dr. Bonnie had given me, it was clear it would take up to 6 months before really noticing a whole lot of difference. Well, in about 5 months I started feeling relief from the pain, and my monthly cycles became more regular. After about 7 months, I was feeling better than I ever had with any of the medical treatments.

One of the side effects of endometriosis for me was the inability to conceive children without the help of medical professionals. I am blessed with two wonderful kids, but had to have extensive surgeries and such to conceive them. Around October 2002, my husband and I decided that we would like to have one more child. I really wanted this but was very reluctant to go through everything I had to do previously to get pregnant. Not only is it painful and invasive, but very expensive.

"I've suffered with Endometriosis since I was sixteen and I am now thirty something. Back in 1991, my doctor told me I would have to have a surgical procedure to remove the damaged tissue. So I did. After the surgery I found out that the surgeons removed what they could, but on my left side they were unable to remove the damaged tissue which was wrapped around my bowel, fallopian tube, and ovary. They said this would require about ten hours of surgery. I decided to look into other options.
