My own endo story

Left ovary removed 6 years ago due to endomettiosis

by Mimi
(Sacramento)

Because of endometriosis I have a 5cm cyst on my right ovary now & I might have to undergo a hysterectomy... :(

I'm 34 years old and have not been able to conceive. I want more than anything in this world to have a child with my husband. I have really bad leg pain, pain during intercourse, bloating etc etc.....I wish there was a cure for endometriosis.

Please rethink about having a hysterectomy
by: Anna

Hi,

I do think you should get a second opinion and not get pushed into having a hysterectomy.

I have read so many sad tales of women who have had a hysterectomy to try and get relief from endometriosis, and the disease comes back for so many of these women.

There must be other options. Are you able to go and see an endometriosis specialist. You really do need to hang onto your reproductive organs if you can.

take care
Anna
